Dev Log Assignment 2


The most interesting thing about the software engineering design was the interaction that objects have with classes and how vague it felt.  I feel as if the software engineering didn’t help get an accurate picture of how our code would be designed, but rather a very abstract view of how it would work.  Most of the design of the code was determined on the spot when we were making it only loosely following the class and use-case diagrams.

 

Since last Dev Log, we have made progress in dynamic artifact pickups, damage numbers, a critical hit system and muzzle flash. There are more enemies that are to be implemented that you can look forward to.
